Crogen Coach House is near Llandrillo, which is in Denbighshire in North Wales. It's a big, detached stone house. Sleeps seventeen. Nine bedrooms, five bathrooms. It's got the four star rating.
The house is south facing and there's a sheltered veranda. There are open fires and a wood-burning stove. It's on a big estate. You get access to about 2500 acres of land for walking. There's a bit of the River Dee for fishing, but you have to arrange that separately with the estate. It's fly fishing for salmon and trout.
About fifty yards from the house there's an all-weather tennis court you can use. There's also a high ropes course and paintballing place in the woods, about half a mile away.
If you have horses, there are fields and stabling available by arrangement. You can go trekking from here.
The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There's a games room, which has a pool table and table football. Parking is on site. WiFi is included. You can bring up to two dogs.
There's a shop about a mile and three quarters away. Two pubs are about a mile and a half away. There are also two quite fancy hotel restaurants about the same distance.
For things to do: Llangollen is a popular town about eight miles away. They have the International Music Eisteddfod in July. There's white water rafting on the river there too. Corwen is a smaller market town closer by.
It's about a thirty minute drive to get into the Snowdonia National Park proper. Bala Lake, which is the biggest natural lake in Wales, is also within half an hour. It's good for watersports.
If you want a bigger day out, the English cities of Chester and Shrewsbury are both about an hour's drive away.
