Crogen Bryn Awel is a cottage near Llandrillo. It's detached, quite small and old, so it's a bit uneven in places, but it’s a solid little place. The view is the main thing. You look right out across the valley. It's good to just sit there with a coffee.
It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and well looked after. There's a woodburning stove for the cooler nights, which works well. The kitchen has what you need. There’s a washing machine, TV, and parking right outside.
You’re on a big estate, so you can walk straight out from the door. There’s fishing and tennis if you arrange it in advance. The local pub, restaurant, and a shop are about a mile and a half down the road.
Bala Lake is about a 15 minute drive. Good for a walk or if you like watersports. Llangollen is about 20 minutes away. They've got the steam railway and canal boats there. For a day at the coast, it’s roughly 45 minutes to an hour’s drive.
It’s a good spot for exploring. You’re right next to the Berwyn mountains and not far from Snowdonia. Useful links for planning: National Trust Snowdonia and Visit Wales.
You can bring one dog. All bedding and towels are included.
