Crogen Wing is part of Crogen Hall, which is a very old place from the 1300s. You get your own bit though, with its own entrance. It’s been done up well.
It’s for four people. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. The living room is upstairs and has a wood burner. Downstairs is the kitchen. It’s got an Aga. It opens out onto a cobbled yard.
You get a big bit of garden to use, with furniture. The River Dee is right there, just past the yard. There’s a spot to sit by the river bank, which is nice in the evening.
It’s heated by a biomass boiler, so it’s always warm inside.
The location is quiet. Llandrillo is a small village. There’s a high ropes and paintball place in the woods about half a mile away if that’s your thing.
You’re about 8 miles from Corwen and Llangollen. Llangollen has the canal and the Eisteddfod in July. Snowdonia is easy to get to for walks. Snowdonia National Park has all the information. Bala Lake is about a 30 minute drive for watersports.
For food, there’s a pub and a Michelin-starred restaurant both about a mile and a half away. The nearest shop is a bit further.
Facilities are what you’d expect: wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
