Groudd Hall is in Cerrigydrudion, on the A5. It's a big, detached stone house that sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, two bathrooms, plus two extra en-suites.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's been refurbished to a high standard. It's not just clean, everything is new or very well kept.
The main living room looks out over the fields. There's a wood burner in there. The kitchen is open to the dining room, which has a big table. It's a good space for a group. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside, there's a covered area with a hot tub and a BBQ. There's also a kids' play area and a games room with a pool table.
The village has a shop, a pub, and a couple of places to eat. They're about a mile away. You can walk it, but it's along the main road, so you need to be careful.
Llyn Brenig reservoir is close by for walks and fishing. Betws-y-Coed is about a 20 minute drive. Llangollen, for the steam railway or the Eisteddfod, is about half an hour away. The coast is further, about an hour's drive.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. It has wheelchair access to the entrance and most of the ground floor is level. Pets are welcome, up to two. Parking is on site.
