Groudd Hall Cottage is in Cerrigydrudion. It's on the A5, so it's easy to find, but you don't really hear the road. It's attached to our house on a working farm. There's a driveway with parking for a couple of cars.
The cottage sleeps seven across four bedrooms. There's one bathroom downstairs with a shower. The stairs are quite steep, from when it was built. It's a 3 Star place, from 1560. It's clean and comfortable, but it's old – you'll feel the uneven floors.
There's a big inglenook fireplace in the living room with an open fire. We leave wood for you. The main kitchen is fine, and there's a second smaller kitchen if you need extra space. The conservatory looks out over our fields. It's a good spot to sit.
The village is about a mile down the road. There's a shop, a pub, and a couple of places to eat. They're all fine. For walking, you can just go straight out from the doorstep.
Betws-y-Coed is maybe 15 minutes by car, that's your way into Snowdonia National Park. The other way, you've got Llangollen with the steam railway. Llyn Brenig lake is close by for fishing or walking around the water.
You're welcome to bring two dogs. There's a garden with a patio, and we've got a stairgate, cot, and highchair if you need them. Everything like bedding, towels, and electricity is included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
