Ty Rhyd
Ty Rhyd is in Penygarnedd, about a mile and a half from the nearest shop and pub. It’s a converted barn on our family farm. We live in the house across the yard.
The place sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s got its own driveway, a terrace and a garden with a view down to the river. It’s a 5 Star property, which means it’s comfortable and well-equipped.
You’re welcome to walk in the farm fields, there’s about 100 acres. We can sort stabling if you’re bringing horses.
If you want to go further out, Lake Vyrnwy and Lake Bala are both within half an hour’s drive. Good for sailing or just a walk around. The Berwyn mountains are close by for walking. There’s a golf course about five miles away.
Powis Castle is about twenty-five minutes by car. It’s a National Trust place and the gardens are good. You can find details here: National Trust Powis Castle.
Inside, it’s got the things you’d expect: dishwasher, washing machine, wifi. Bedding and towels are included. It’s all electric and that’s included in the price. There’s parking right outside.
