Sgubor Fach
Sgubor Fach is a converted barn near Penybontfawr. It's detached and sits on its own. The views are really nice, just fields and hills.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with good sized beds. One has patio doors that open onto a small balcony. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's rated 4 Star. It's comfortable and clean, with decent fixtures.
You're right out in the countryside here. It's quiet. The village is a short walk away. There's a shop for basics and a pub that does evening meals. It's a proper local.
The area is good for walking. You've got Lake Vyrnwy and the Llanrhaeadr waterfall close by. The Snowdonia National Park border is only a few miles away. The Berwyn hills are right there if you want to get up into them.
For a bigger shop or more places to eat, Llanfyllin is about ten minutes by car. If you fancy a proper day out, Welshpool and Powis Castle are roughly half an hour's drive.
The cottage has a patio with a table and a BBQ. Parking is right outside. There's a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can take one well-behaved dog.
