No 12 - Stirrup
No 12 - Stirrup is a barn conversion on Tedsmore Hall Estate. It's one of four barns around a big courtyard with fountains. You look out over the central gardens at the front and have your own private garden at the back.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Two are super king rooms with their own bathrooms, and one is a twin room with its own bathroom. There's also a toilet downstairs. Everything is on one level upstairs and one level down. No steep stairs.
The place has underfloor heating and is rated 5 Star. That means it's well-finished and comfortable. There's a proper kitchen, a separate dining room, and a living area with a smart TV. WiFi is included.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
The estate grounds are there to walk around. For a longer walk, the Shropshire Hills area is about half an hour's drive. Attingham Park (National Trust) is near Shrewsbury, about 25 minutes by car. Powis Castle is just over the border in Wales, maybe 40 minutes away.
Oswestry is the nearest town, about ten minutes in the car. It's a market town with shops and pubs. Shrewsbury is bigger, about half an hour away. It's got the Quarry park by the river and a theatre.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are provided.
