No 8 - Goodwood Tedsmore

No 8 - Goodwood is one of ten converted stables on the Tedsmore Hall estate, near West Felton in Shropshire. They're set around a big courtyard with fountains. It's a peaceful spot with views over fields.

It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's a high standard finish. Everything's new and clean.

Downstairs is a kingsize bedroom with its own shower room, which is handy. The living area has a smart TV. The kitchen is open plan with bi-fold doors that open onto your own patio. There's a table and chairs out there.

Upstairs are two more king bedrooms and a twin bedroom. One of the king rooms has another ensuite. There's a family bathroom up there as well.

It has underfloor heating, which is great in the cooler months. There's a games room on the estate with pool and table tennis. You're free to walk around the grounds.

Oswestry is the nearest town, about ten minutes by car. Shrewsbury is roughly half an hour's drive. It's a proper market town with the river, the Quarry park, and a theatre. Old Oswestry Hill Fort is nearby if you like history.

For days out, you've got Powis Castle near Welshpool, and the British Ironwork Centre is just up the road. The Park Hall farm experience and Hoo Zoo are both within easy reach if you have children with you.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. It's wheelchair accessible and has on-site parking. No pets.
