Field House
Field House is in Baschurch, Shropshire. It's a detached house with its own garden. Sleeps fourteen, which is why most people book it. Big family things, reunions, that sort of stuff.
Six bedrooms, three bathrooms. There's a double bedroom and a toilet/shower on the ground floor which is useful if stairs are a problem. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You get use of an indoor heated pool, a gym, a hot tub, and a games room with a pool table. You book slots for those between two and seven in the afternoon. They're shared with the other cottage on the estate, but you get your own time in them.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or dogs. We allow two pets. There's a barbecue and outdoor furniture.
The village has a shop and two pubs that do food, all a few minutes' walk away. It's a quiet place.
Shrewsbury is about fifteen minutes by car. It's a proper market town with the lot. For a day out, the English Heritage sites like Moreton Corbet Castle are close. Attingham Park is near Shrewsbury too. Ironbridge is about half an hour's drive, and the RAF Museum at Cosford is roughly twenty-five minutes.
Included in the price: all bedding and towels, WiFi, electricity. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Plenty of parking on the drive. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there's a washing machine in the utility room.
