The Dairy
The Dairy is just outside Marton. It's a one-bedroom barn conversion I finished in 2019. It sleeps two. It's got a 5 Star rating, which basically means everything's new and works.
You come in the front door and it's all open plan. Vaulted ceiling, original beams. The kitchen's at the front with a breakfast bar. Then there's a table for two, a sofa, and a TV. The kingsize bed and the shower room are at the back. It feels bigger than you'd think.
There are a couple of seating areas outside. One by the front door, one on the lawn. Both are fine for sitting out or using the barbecue. You can bring one dog.
The village pub is about a ten minute walk. The nearest shop is in Baschurch, about two and a half miles away.
The barn is in our grounds, next to another holiday let called The Parlour. You park in the main car park. It's private.
Shrewsbury is about a fifteen minute drive. It's a good town for a day out, lots of old buildings and places to eat. The Quarry Park is nice. If you head north, the meres around Ellesmere are pretty for a walk. Towards Wales, you've got the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which is impressive.

Inside, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. The Dairy can be booked with the other properties here if you're a bigger group.
