The Dairy
The Dairy is in Marton, Shropshire. It's a barn conversion, so it's open plan with a high ceiling and old beams. It's bigger inside than you might think for a place that sleeps two.
It's got one bedroom and one bathroom, all on the ground floor. The bed is at the far end, past the living space. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's very well done and comfortable. You get your own little garden area with space to sit out.
It's next to another cottage called The Parlour. You can book them together if you're a group of four. You'd eat together in The Parlour but each place has its own bathroom.
There's a pub and a restaurant about a mile away. The village shop is a bit further, maybe two and a half miles. The bus to Shrewsbury or Ellesmere stops right on the drive, so you don't always need the car. There's parking for two cars.
For things to do, you're in a good spot. Shrewsbury is nearby, it's a nice old town with a market. Ellesmere has the meres, which are lakes, good for a walk. Further south you get the Shropshire Hills. Ironbridge is about a half hour drive, that's the World Heritage Site. There are a few National Trust places close by, like Attingham Park.
Inside, it's all there. Kitchen with a breakfast bar, fridge, washing machine. TV with Freeview. A sofa and a table for two. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
