The Old Milking Parlour
The Old Milking Parlour is a bungalow on our farm in Crosslanes. It's detached, so it's just you. It's a quiet spot.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms: one double, one single. One bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. Everything is on one level, which is handy.
We live on the farm too, so we're nearby if you need anything. Sometimes we might leave you some cake.
Inside, it's modern and clean. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and Wi-Fi. The TV is a smart one. A few decorations nod to it being an old milking parlour, but it's not over the top.
Outside, you've got your own patio area with seating. There's parking right there. You'll see the farm going about its business.
The village is very small and quiet. For a shop or a pub, you'll need to drive a few minutes. Oswestry and Shrewsbury are both about twenty minutes away by car. They have everything you need: supermarkets, restaurants, the usual.
You're right on the edge of the Welsh border here. Lake Vyrnwy is a good half hour drive west. It's nice for a walk. Further into Wales, the coast is about an hour and a half. For local walks and history, Attingham Park near Shrewsbury is nice, and Chirk Castle is just over the border in Wales.
We can provide a travel cot and a highchair if you let us know. No pets, I'm afraid.
