No 5 - Ascot Tedsmore

No 5 Ascot is one of the stable barn conversions on the Tedsmore Hall Estate. It's set around a big courtyard with some fountains. The views over the fields are the main thing. It's quiet.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means everything's new and works properly. It's all on one level except for one bedroom and bathroom which are upstairs. The doors to the patio are bifold, so they open right up.

You've got your own patio with a table. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher. There's underfloor heating. The Wi-Fi is decent. Parking is right outside.

On the estate there's a large shared games room with pool and table tennis. You can walk around the grounds.

Oswestry is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. It's a market town with shops and supermarkets. Shrewsbury is about half an hour away. It's bigger, with the Quarry Park by the river, a theatre, and an independent cinema in the old market hall.

For local days out, there's the British Ironwork Centre and sculpture park just down the road. Old Oswestry Hill Fort is nearby if you like a walk with some history. Whittington Castle is about fifteen minutes away. Further afield, Powis Castle and Gardens are about a forty minute drive.

Facilities: washing machine, TV, cot and highchair if needed, bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible. There's an electric vehicle charger. No pets.
