This is the Bechan Brook Hut, near Bettws Cedewain. It's one hut overlooking the brook. You cross a footbridge to get to it.
The hut itself sleeps two. One bedroom space with a double bed, a small kitchen and dining area, and a shower room. It's got one of those log burners. It's a 4 Star graded place, which means it's nicer than most huts, but still a hut.
The patio is private. It looks right over the brook. You're in our garden, but it feels separate. It's quiet here. The village has a shop and a pub, both a short walk away.
Newtown is about five miles. That's where you'll find the bigger supermarkets and things. For getting outdoors, you're right in the middle of a lot. There's walking straight from the door. Offa's Dyke isn't far.
If you drive, you can be at the edge of the Eryri National Park in about an hour. The Shropshire Hills are about the same distance the other way. Powis Castle is probably half an hour's drive.
What's here: the log burner, parking for one car, a TV, WiFi. The bedding and towels are included. There's space to store bikes if you bring them. We don't allow pets.
