Talog Barn
Talog Barn is a converted barn on our farm. We live on site. It's semi-detached to another cottage, Y Bwthyn. The farm is about 150 acres, mostly sheep and cattle. It's quiet here.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor, which is good if stairs are a problem. The access is level. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You're welcome to bring one well-behaved dog. There's an enclosed patio garden with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the afternoon. You can park right outside.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV and wifi. The kitchen has a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
The village shop in Tregynon is about a ten minute walk. The nearest pub serving food is two and a half miles away.
Newtown is about four miles, Welshpool is about eight. Both have supermarkets and places to eat. For a day out, Powis Castle is near Welshpool and Glansevern Hall Gardens are a short drive away. There's good walking from the door and plenty of cycling trails. Ludlow and Shrewsbury are both within a 30 minute drive.
If you need more space, you can book Talog Barn together with Y Bwthyn next door. That sleeps seven in total.
