Y Bwthyn
This is Y Bwthyn. It's a converted barn on our farm in Tregynon. You're right in the middle of the place, it's a 150-acre working farm with sheep and cattle. We live on site too, in the farmhouse.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. All on one level, so the access is good. The shower is a walk-in one. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
You get your own patio area out the front with a table and chairs. It looks out over the fields. It's very quiet, just farm sounds. We allow one well-behaved dog.
The village shop is a few minutes walk down the lane. The nearest pub is about two and a half miles away, in Betws Cedewain.
You're in a good spot for getting out. There are walks straight from the door onto the farm lanes. For a big day out, Powis Castle is about fifteen minutes drive. The gardens are spectacular. Glansevern Hall Gardens are also close by.
Newtown and Welshpool are both roughly twenty minutes in the car for supermarkets and things. If you want to go further, Shrewsbury is about forty-five minutes, Ludlow is about an hour.
Inside, it's got everything you'd need. Wifi, tv, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
We have another barn next door called Talog Barn that sleeps five. They can be booked together if you're coming with more people.
