Rhiew Banc
This is Rhiew Banc. It's in Bwlch y ffridd. That's up near Newtown, in Mid Wales. It's a detached house, quite big. You should know it's next to a chicken farm. You're in a rural spot but you can see Newtown, which is about four miles down the road. The views from here are good, rolling hills.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are doubles with their own showers, the other two are twins sharing a family bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, so everything's in good order.
The kitchen and dining area are open plan, and that leads into a big conservatory. You get a good look at the garden and the fields from there. There's a large lawned garden and a patio with a private hot tub. The living room has a wood burner. There's also a separate cinema room with a 60 inch screen, and a games room on the ground floor.
The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to two dogs. There are walks you can start from the door.
Newtown is your nearest for shops, a pub, and places to eat. It's four miles. For bigger days out, the coast is about an hour's drive. You're not far from the Cambrian Mountains or the Shropshire Hills. The Visit Mid Wales site is useful for planning. For heritage, Powys County Council's heritage page has local information.
What's here: parking, wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher, barbecue, bike storage. Bedding and towels are included. Wood for the burner is provided. It's got Christmas decorations if you book over that period.
