Green Lane Cottage is just outside Newtown in Powys. It's a detached house, sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The kitchen is oak, handmade. Big table that seats everyone. The sitting room has a log burner and a good view down the Severn valley. The conservatory is bright, looks out over the garden.
One double bedroom is on the ground floor. Upstairs, there's a double with en-suite, a king-size, and a twin. The annex has another king-size bedroom and its own bathroom above the games room.
The games room is in the old garage. It's got a full-size snooker table, darts, and table football. There's a sofa area up there too.
The garden is large and quiet. There's a patio with seating, a BBQ firepit, two lawns, and an orchard. The hot tub is under some trees. Part of the Severn Way walk goes through the field next door.
Newtown is two miles away. It's got the usual shops, a few pubs and places to eat, a museum, and a theatre.
You're well placed for getting out. Powis Castle is about eleven miles away, it's a good day out. The National Trust page has details. For walking, you've got Glyndwr's Way and the Hafren Forest locally. Lake Vyrnwy and the Elan Valley are within half an hour. The coast at Aberystwyth or Barmouth is just over an hour.
For facilities: parking on site, bedding and towels included, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, cot and highchair available. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
