Cwm Corn Barn
Cwm Corn Barn is a converted barn near Dolfor, about four miles from Newtown. It's a rural spot. The views are good across the fields.
It sleeps nine. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Hot tub is outside.
The access road is a single track lane. There's a pub serving food about two miles away in Llanllwchaiarn.
Newtown is your nearest proper town. It's got supermarkets, some pubs and places to eat, and a cinema. The river runs through it.
You're in walking country here. Lots of footpaths from the door. For a longer drive, Powis Castle is about half an hour away. The castle itself is impressive but the terraced gardens are the real highlight. Further afield, the red kite feeding in Rhayader is worth seeing if you like birds. It's about a 25 minute drive.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for a few cars. The garden is enclosed. We can provide a cot and stairgate. Two well-behaved dogs are allowed.
