Bodeinion
Bodeinion is in Llanfair Caereinion, in Powys. It's a terraced cottage in the middle of town. You'll hear it's in Wales when you try to say the name.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. One of the double bedrooms has its own ensuite. The rating is 4 Star. It's been updated but keeps some old features. There are two staircases, which is a bit unusual. They're both normal cottage stairs, so mind your head in places.
You get a small outside area. Just over the road, by the river, there's a public green space with picnic benches. It's less than a minute's walk.
The town has what you need. There's a butcher, a bakery, a cafe, and three pubs. The Welshpool to Llanfair Light Railway station is a short walk away, over the bridge. You can hear the river from the cottage.
For days out, Welshpool is about fifteen minutes by car. Powis Castle and Garden is there. It's National Trust, so members get in free. The lake at Vyrnwy is roughly half an hour's drive. It's good for walking and has a cafe by the dam.
The facilities cover the basics. There's a woodburning stove, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car on the street outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
