It's called Hirros Hall Longhouse. It's in Four Crosses, Powys. That's in Mid Wales. If you look it up on a map, it's high up on the hills. You get a good view over the Banwy Valley.
It's a proper old longhouse, linked to the main hall next door. Parts of the timber frame are from about the 16th century. You can see the beams. It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, so that's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating.
We've got a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. The WiFi works. Bedding and towels are included. There's a patio and garden area, and a BBQ. You're welcome to bring up to two dogs.
It's a rural spot. The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in Llanfair Caereinion. So you'll need a car. There are fishing lakes about a ten minute walk down the lane.
If you're bringing horses, we've got two paddocks and stabling here, and plenty of parking for a horsebox. That's why some people book it.
For things to do, the Dyfnant Forest is about a 15 minute drive for walking or mountain biking. Welshpool is close by for the golf club. Powis Castle is a big draw. The steam railway in Llanfair Caereinion is good for a trip out. The Cambrian Coast is about a 30 minute drive if you fancy the sea.
