Y Dderwen At Brynglas Farm

Y Dderwen is a converted barn at Brynglas Farm in Powys. We live in the main house next door. It's a working farm, so you might hear sheep and see tractors.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a family bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is comfortable and well-equipped. It's open plan downstairs. The main thing is the view from the back. You look right out over the garden and down the Banwy Valley. It's a good spot to sit with a drink.

There's a patio and a garden for you to use, with a BBQ. We've left some charcoal from last guests. Parking is right outside.

Inside, everything's included: bedding, towels, WiFi. There's a TV, dishwasher, and washing machine. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

The nearest shop, pub, and restaurant are in Meifod, about three miles away. It's a proper village pub.

You're in a good spot for getting out. Lake Vyrnwy is about twenty minutes drive west, great for walking. Powys Castle in Welshpool is within half an hour, and it's worth a visit. Further west, you can get to the coast or Bala in under an hour if you fancy a change.
