Oak Llanfair Caereinion

Oak is one of four pods on a site just outside Llanfair Caereinion. It's very quiet here, just a few fields and the other pods.

It's a detached glamping pod, so it's all on one level. It sleeps four, but it's essentially one big studio room with a double bed and a sofa bed, and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's nicely finished, clean and modern.

Outside there's your own patio area with a table and a BBQ. The main thing is you get a private hot tub out there. It looks out over the fields.

You're in the countryside, so it's good for walking straight from the door. The town has the basics: a shop, a couple of pubs. The main attraction here is the Welshpool and Llanfair Steam Railway, which starts in the town. It's a nice trip.

You can drive to Lake Vyrnwy in about 25 minutes for walking or cycling. Powis Castle is about 20 minutes away towards Welshpool. Further afield, you can get to Shrewsbury or the edge of Snowdonia in roughly 45 minutes.

Facilities: it has WiFi, a TV, parking right by the pod, and bedding and towels are included. There's no space for pets. It can be booked with the other pods if you're in a group.
