Upper Bryn Y Groes is a detached house on a hill near Newbridge. It's just on the Welsh side of the border, so it's quiet. The views are over fields and hills. You get about an acre of garden to yourselves.
It sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's the main thing. It's got the 5 Star rating, which means it's well set-up and everything's in good order.
The place is all on one level inside, which is good for groups. The front door is step-free and there's a shower you can walk into, so it works for someone with limited mobility. The layout is open plan.
Outside, there's a hot tub at the front. It looks out over the view. The garden is big, with a patio area.
For things to do, Lake Vyrnwy is about a 20 minute drive. Good for a walk or a cycle. Powis Castle is a bit further, maybe 25 minutes. The gardens there are famous. You've got National Trust Powis Castle for details. The Dyfnant forest has marked walking trails.
The towns are a drive away. Oswestry is the closest, about 15 minutes. Shrewsbury is more like 35 minutes, Welshpool about 25. They have the shops and places to eat.
In terms of what's here: there's parking for several cars, a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and a TV. We include the bedding and towels. A cot and highchair are here if you need them. No pets, sorry. There's local fishing if you're into that, and a golf course not far.
