Apartment At Llanerchydol Hall
This is the Apartment at Llanerchydol Hall. It's a one-bedroom place that sleeps two. You get the whole apartment to yourselves, but the hall itself is a shared building.
It's a high-end place, hence the 5 Star rating. The interior is done very well, everything feels new and comfortable. The kitchen is particularly nice. There's underfloor heating, a woodburning stove in the sitting room, and a very good shower.
The apartment is in the west wing of the hall. The hall is Grade II listed, built in the early Gothic revival style. It sits in about ten acres of its own gardens and woodland, which you're free to walk around. The driveway leads directly onto a national trail, so you can start a walk from the door.
There's a pub known for its food at the bottom of the driveway, about a five-minute walk. The market town of Welshpool is a mile away for shops and cafes.
Welshpool Golf Club is about ten minutes by car. Powis Castle and its gardens are nearby, and well worth a visit. You can also get on the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway there, which is a steam train that goes through the valley.
You're allowed one well-behaved dog. There's parking on site. Bedding and towels are provided.
