Pennant is in Llanerfyl, in Powys. It's a detached house, so no neighbours attached. It's a four-star place, which means it's pretty new and well-fitted.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. One double is on the ground floor with its own shower room, so good if stairs are a problem. Upstairs there's another double with an en-suite and a twin room. They're all a good size.
The main living area is open plan. The kitchen has everything, including a dishwasher. The lounge has a wood burner and a big TV. Off that is a conservatory with a football table in it.
Outside, there's a decent garden, a BBQ, and a hot tub. Please don't use the hot tub on the morning you leave.
The location is rural. You'll need a car. The nearest pub and shop are a short drive away. It's very quiet. Walking trails start from the door.
Welshpool is about a 20-minute drive. There are restaurants there and you can visit Powis Castle, which is run by the National Trust. For a day out, Barmouth on the coast is just over 40 minutes away.
Facilities include all the basics: wifi, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning to explore the area, the Visit Wales site is useful, and for local walking, Mid Wales Walks.
