Celyn
This is Celyn. It's one of five small lodges in a place called The Secret Garden Hideaway, just outside Llangadfan village in Powys.
It's a detached lodge for four people. Two bedrooms, both with their own ensuite shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern, clean and warm. The heating runs on a biomass boiler.
The lodge is all on one level. Open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Outside, there's a private bit of garden with a patio for sitting out. There's also a larger shared garden area with a kids' play space.
You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
The owners run a hotel up the lane that does food and drinks. The nearest pub is in the village. The area is very quiet and rural.
You're right next to Dyfnant Forest for walking. Lake Vyrnwy is about a 20 minute drive. It's good for walks and birdwatching. RSPB Lake Vyrnwy has information.
For a day out, Welshpool is about half an hour away. Powis Castle is there. The Severn Valley and Snowdonia are both within an hour's drive if you want to go further.
