Celyn is a lodge in Llangadfan, mid Wales. It's in a place called The Secret Garden Hideaway. That's just the name of the group of five lodges. They're detached, each in their own bit of garden. You get a patio area with a table and chairs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well finished. Everything is on one level, which is handy. The heating comes from a shared biomass boiler system, which is quite efficient.
The owners run a hotel up the lane. You can walk up there for a meal or a drink if you don't want to cook. There's a pub in the village too. For walks, you've got Dyfnant Forest right on the doorstep. Lake Vyrnwy is about a 20 minute drive. It's a reservoir run by RSPB, good for walking and birdwatching. The RSPB site has details.
If you fish, Bluebell Park is nearby. For a day out, Welshpool is just over half an hour away. That's where you'll find Powis Castle and its gardens, which are run by the National Trust. The Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway is there too.
In terms of what's here: there's parking right outside the lodge. WiFi, TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's an enclosed garden, so that's secure for kids or a pet.
