Daffodil
The Daffodil is one of five modern lodges in Llangadfan. It's for two people. One bedroom, one ensuite wet room. It’s detached and you have your own little garden area.
It’s got a 4 Star rating. That’s because it’s well-finished. The heating comes from a biomass boiler on site. It's all one open-plan living space, with a kitchen at the end. It's well equipped.
The lodges are set inside a big shared garden, behind a wooden gate. It's very quiet. The owners run a hotel a short walk up the path, so you can go there for a meal or a drink if you want.
You're right next to Dyfnant Forest for walking. Lake Vyrnwy is about seven miles away. It's a reservoir with a dam and good walking paths all around it. The RSPB manage part of it.
Welshpool is about 15 miles east. That's where you'll find Powis Castle and Garden. It’s also the start of the canal if you like that sort of walk.
You can bring one dog. There's parking right by the lodge. All bedding and towels are included. There's wifi and a TV.
