Daffodil Llangadfan

It's called Daffodil, and it's a single-storey lodge near Llangadfan in Powys. It's one of five in the same place, spread out in a big shared garden. You get your own little porch area as well.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one ensuite wet room. It's rated 4 Star, which means it's modern and comfortable. Everything is open plan, so it's all on one level. The heating comes from a shared biomass boiler. It works well.

The owners run a hotel just up the path. They serve food and drinks there, so you don't have to cook if you don't want to.

It's very quiet here. The Dyfnant Forest is on the doorstep for walks. For a day out, the reservoir at Lake Vyrnwy is about a 20 minute drive. It's good for walking or cycling. There's fishing nearby at Bluebell Park if that's your thing.

Welshpool is around 30 minutes away. Powis Castle and Garden is there, and you can get the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway.

In terms of what's here: there's parking right outside, WiFi, a TV, and a kitchen with what you'd need. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
