Fioled
This is Fioled. It's one of a few lodges here at The Secret Garden Hideaway, near Llangadfan. It's a detached lodge, so you're on your own. Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both have their own ensuite wet rooms. Good if you're two couples.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's modern inside, and clean. The heating comes from a biomass boiler, so it's eco-friendly. The kitchen is open plan with the living area. It's got everything you need.
Outside, you get your own private bit of garden with a seating area. There's a bigger communal garden too if you fancy it. The owners run a hotel just up the path. You can eat and drink there if you don't want to cook.
Location-wise, it's very rural. Proper countryside. Dyfnant Forest is on the doorstep for walking. Lake Vyrnwy is about a 20 minute drive. It's good for walks and birdwatching. The RSPB has a reserve there.
If you fish, Bluebell Park is nearby. For a day out, Powis Castle and its gardens are about 40 minutes away near Welshpool. You can get information from National Trust Powis Castle. Welshpool itself has a bit more going on, with shops and a heritage railway.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking right there. All bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
