Rhosyn
This is Rhosyn. It's one of five lodges in Llangadfan, which is a quiet spot in Mid Wales. The lodges sit behind a big wooden gate in a shared garden, which is nicely looked after. Rhosyn is for two people.
It's a detached, single-storey lodge. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bathroom is a wet room. Everything is on the ground floor. It's modern inside, comfortable and warm. It gets its heat from a biomass boiler. You've got your own little patio area out the front with a table and chairs. The main garden around the lodges is shared if you want to sit somewhere else.
The owners run a hotel just up the lane. They serve food and drinks, so you can eat there if you don't want to cook.
You're right by Dyfnant Forest for walking. Lake Vyrnwy is about a 15 minute drive. It's good for walks and wildlife. The RSPB has a reserve there. If you fish, Bluebell Park is nearby.
Welshpool is roughly half an hour away. That's where you'll find Powis Castle and its gardens, run by the National Trust. The town has shops and a heritage railway.
For facilities, there's parking right by the lodge, wifi, TV, and a well-equipped kitchen. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
