Rhosyn Llangadfan

It's called Rhosyn. It's in Llangadfan, out towards Llanwddyn. You're in the middle of fields and forest here, very quiet.

It's one of five lodges grouped together in what they call The Secret Garden Hideaway. They're all separate. You go through this big wooden gate into a shared garden area, then your lodge is off to the side with its own bit of private patio. It's detached, so it's just you.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one wet room bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well done and comfortable. Everything's on the ground floor.

The lodge itself is a modern open plan space. The kitchen has what you'd need. There's a TV and WiFi. Heating and electricity are included. They built it to be eco-friendly, so the heating comes from a biomass system.

The owners run a hotel about a five minute walk up the lane. They do food and drink, so you can cook for yourselves or pop up there for a meal.

You're right on the edge of Dyfnant Forest. There's walking straight from the door. Lake Vyrnwy is about a twenty minute drive and it's well worth the trip for the views and the walking loops. You're also not far from Welshpool, maybe half an hour's drive. That's where Powis Castle and Gardens are.

You can bring one dog. There's parking right there. Bedding and towels are included.
