Llwynog Lodge is up on the edge of Garthmyl, just outside Montgomery. It's a detached, wooden lodge built in the garden. It's for two people.
You get the place to yourselves. There's one bedroom and a wet room shower, all on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and in good order. The main room is open plan with patio doors that open straight onto the deck. The view from there is fields and hills. It’s a nice spot to sit.
It's very quiet. The village has a pub, which is about a fifteen minute walk down the lane. There's a 9-hole golf course about twenty minutes walk away, they have a restaurant.
You're right on the Glyndwr's Way National Trail here, so the walking is excellent straight from the door. Montgomery is a few miles away, it's a nice little town with a castle and some shops. The Powis Castle gardens are about a twenty minute drive. The Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway is a similar distance.
For a day at the coast, Aberdovey is maybe forty-five minutes by car. It's a proper estuary beach with sailing.
In terms of what's here: there's parking right outside, the bedding and towels are included, and there's WiFi and a TV. The wet room shower is good. It's all electric. No pets.
