Tank Barn Leighton

Tank Barn is on the Leighton Estate, up on the Cefn Digoll. It's a detached, converted barn. The place sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with super king beds, one of which can be twins. One shower room. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well equipped and comfortable.

The main living space is open plan, with a high ceiling and some copper pipes running across it. There are electric blinds. The kitchen's got everything, including a dishwasher. There's a washing machine too. Bedding and towels are included.

Outside, there's a private balcony and patio with furniture. There's also a shared garden area. Parking is on site.

You're up in the hills, so it's very quiet and rural. Offa's Dyke Path is a couple of miles away if you want to walk. Powis Castle is a short drive. The Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway is worth a trip, especially if you like steam trains.

Welshpool is about six miles for shops. Shrewsbury is under half an hour by car if you want a bigger town. The Mid Wales coast is around an hour's drive.

You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a stairgate at the top of the stairs. The stairs themselves are quite steep, which is common in these old places.
