The Annexe is attached to our house, here in Guilsfield. It's self-contained though, with its own door and garden. You won't be disturbed.
It's a 4 Star rating. It's one big room really, like a studio. There's a proper double bed, and then a double sofa bed in the living area. So it says it sleeps four, but that's with two on the sofa bed. It's best for a couple, or a couple with two small kids. The bathroom has a shower.
You get the little enclosed garden to yourselves. It's south facing, so it gets the sun. There's parking right outside.
One well-behaved dog is welcome. We just ask that you don't leave it alone in there.
Guilsfield is a quiet village. We've got a shop, a butchers, and two pubs that do food. It's handy.
For walks, Glyndwr's Way goes right through the village. Offa's Dyke Path isn't far either. Lake Vyrnwy is about a 20 minute drive up the road. It's good for a walk or a bike ride. Powis Castle is near Welshpool, which is about ten minutes away. The Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway is there too if that's your thing.
Further out, you can get to the edge of Snowdonia in under an hour. The coast at Aberdyfi is about the same.
In the annexe, there's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a cot and highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included.
