The main thing is the view. You look right out over the Solway Firth. The dining room is a conservatory with big windows, so you get that view while you're eating. There's a wood burner in the living room for cooler evenings.

Carsethorn is a quiet village. There's a pub that does food about five minutes' walk away. The coast path is right there for walking. You're close to the Rough Firth National Nature Reserve if you're interested in wildlife.
