Gill Bay Southerness

This is Gill Bay. It's on Southerness Holiday Park, right on the Solway coast. It's a detached, single-storey holiday home. The main thing is the view. You're right by the sea, so you get a clear look out over the beach.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One has a king-size bed and an en-suite. The other is a twin. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.

The living area is open plan. There's a decent kitchen with an American fridge freezer. Big doors open straight out onto a wrap-around deck. The deck is enclosed, which is good if you have kids or a dog. You can sit out there and watch the water.

Being on the park, you've got the beach on your doorstep. The Southerness golf course is a short walk away. The park itself has the usual holiday park facilities: entertainment, a pool, that sort of thing.

Dumfries is about half an hour's drive if you need a bigger town for shops or a day out. There's good walking along the coast. The area is known for birdwatching.

In terms of what's here: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Parking is right outside. It's all on one level with accessible features. No pets.
