Jura
Jura is a detached cottage in Southerness. It's about three minutes' walk from a big sandy beach.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one shower room, all on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's an open plan layout, so the living space feels quite bright and spacious. There's a large conservatory at the back that looks straight out onto the Southerness golf course.
Outside, there's a patio and a garden that's just for you. Parking is on site.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
The village is small and quiet. The beach is the main thing. The lighthouse is worth a look, it's very old. The golf course is right there if you play. For other shops and places to eat, you'd drive to Dalbeattie or Dumfries.
If you want to explore, the 7Stanes mountain biking trails at Dalbeattie and Mabie are within half an hour. There's an RSPB nature reserve along the coast at Mersehead. For a day out, Caerlaverock Castle is about 40 minutes away.
