Jura
This is Jura. It's in Southerness on the Solway coast. A detached cottage about five minutes from a long, sandy beach.
Sleeps six, three bedrooms, one shower room. Everything's on the ground floor which is handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The main room is open plan with big windows, so it's quite bright. There's a conservatory on the back that looks onto the golf course.
You've got a garden and a patio out the back. Parking for two cars on the drive.
Southerness itself is quiet. There's the beach, a lighthouse from the 1700s, and the golf course right there. It's a proper links course. The views over the Solway to the Lake District are good on a clear day.
If you want to go out, Dumfries is about half an hour's drive for bigger shops. The 7Stanes mountain biking trails at Dalbeattie and Mabie are within 30 minutes. There's also an RSPB reserve along the coast at Mersehead.
Inside, there's WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
