Seascape
Seascape is in Southerness, up on the Solway Coast. It's a detached house, so it's just you. There's a fence and a gate to the other holiday house next door, but the garden's yours.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. Three bathrooms, one's a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 5 Star rating so everything's in good order.
The beach is about a five minute walk away. It's sandy. You can see the sea from the house, and the hills behind you. There's a golf course right by the beach. Southerness Golf Club is the one.
In the house, there's a games room with a pool table and things. Outside, there's a hot tub. It's enclosed so it's private.
The local pub and a small shop are also about five minutes' walk. They're fine for basics and a meal.
If you're driving, there's a lot to do. You're about twenty minutes from Dumfries. The Galloway Forest Park is fantastic for walks and dark skies. The mountain biking at Dalbeattie and the other 7 Stanes tracks is really good. Threave Garden is worth a visit, and there are plenty of castles like Drumlanrig about.
Inside, it's all set up for a group. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, cot and highchair. The parking is on site. It's all on one level except for one bedroom, so it works if someone needs ground floor access.
