Seaview 61 is a static caravan on Southerness Holiday Park, near Dumfries. It's a detached one.
It sleeps eight people. There are three bedrooms, two with twin beds. There's one family shower room and an extra toilet in the main bedroom. The main living area is all one open space.
Outside is a big wrap-around deck with good views out over the Solway Firth. The garden is enclosed, so it's fine for dogs or kids. You can bring one dog.
The caravan has a 4 Star rating. That means the furnishings are fairly new and it's well looked after. The bedding and towels are all included.
On the park itself, there's an indoor pool, a mini golf course, and usually some organised activities in the school holidays. The Southerness golf course is right next door.
The beach is a few minutes' walk away. It's a long sandy beach, good for walks. The coastal path here is more flat than cliff-top, so it's quite easy going. Nearby, Rockcliffe and Kippford are nice for a wander.
If you want to drive out, the RSPB Mersehead reserve is about twenty minutes away. Sweetheart Abbey is maybe half an hour inland. For a proper day out, the Galloway Forest Park is about a 40-minute drive.
Dumfries is the nearest proper town, about a 20-minute drive. It has supermarkets, shops, and a museum about Robert Burns.
Facilities: it has parking right outside, WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. The kitchen has the usual stuff: oven, fridge, microwave.
