Sandy Paws Southerness

Sandy Paws is a holiday home on the Southerness Holiday Park, right next to the Solway Coast. It's a detached place, so you're not sharing walls with anyone.

It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms: one double and two twins. One family shower room and a separate toilet. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. You can bring one dog.

The main living space is open plan, with the kitchen and sitting area together. The best bit is the decking that goes around two sides. It's fully enclosed, so it's safe for kids or the dog, and you get a good view of the sea and the Cumbrian hills across the water.

On the park itself, there's a swimming pool, a play area, and an arcade. The beach is just a short walk away. The Southerness Golf Course is right next door if you play.

For days out, Dumfries is about twenty minutes by car. You can get to the Galloway Forest Park, which is a Dark Sky Park, in under half an hour. The National Trust's Threave Garden is also within that drive. The Solway Coast is good for walking and birdwatching. You sometimes see seals.

Facilities: everything you'd expect really. Wi-Fi, TV, parking right outside. All the bedding and towels are included. The garden is that decking area, and it's private.
