Quare Place
Quare Place is in Southerness, on the Solway coast. It's a detached house, so no neighbours through the walls. You get the whole garden, it's enclosed.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms are super king size with their own shower rooms, one is a twin. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything's on one level except for two bedrooms and a second sitting room upstairs.
The main living area is open-plan, kitchen, dining, sitting room. There's a woodburning stove. Upstairs there's another living room with good views over the water.
You're about five minutes walk from the beach, and the golf course. Southerness Lighthouse is right there on the point. The local golf club is a links course, it's well known.
Within about half an hour you can get to Caerlaverock Castle. Sweetheart Abbey is near New Abbey. For a bigger day out, the Galloway Forest Park is about forty minutes drive. The coast path is good for walking.
Facilities: there's WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for two cars. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
