Kingfisher Lodge is in Arden, on the edge of Loch Lomond. It’s a modern, detached chalet, one of a row of four. You get your own decking and garden area. It looks out towards the loch.
It sleeps six. That’s in two bedrooms, but there are two bathrooms, which helps. There’s a 4 Star rating. It’s clean and well-equipped. It’s open-plan downstairs, so if someone’s in the kitchen you’re all together.
The lodge has a hot tub on the deck. There’s a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. You can bring one dog.
You’re on the Lomond Castle Estate grounds. It’s a few minutes’ walk down to the loch shore. The Duck Bay Restaurant and Cameron House are also in walking distance.
For a day out, you can drive into The Trossachs National Park. Balloch is about ten minutes away for shops. Glasgow is under an hour by car if you need a city trip.
