Willow Cottage is one of a row of small cottages on Auchendennan Farm in Arden. It's in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, but it's on a farm road, not right on the loch side. You're about three miles from the main loch shore at Balmaha.
It's a single-storey cottage, so everything is on one level. It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. There's an open-plan living area with a wood-burning stove, which you'll need to light yourself. There's a small, private patio area out the front.
There's a local pub about a quarter of a mile up the road in Arden. The nearest shop is in Balmaha, about two miles away.
From here, you're well placed for the east side of Loch Lomond. Balmaha has a visitor centre, boat trips, and the start of the path up Conic Hill. The West Highland Way passes through there too. For a bigger day out, you can drive up the loch side to Rowardennan and walk up Ben Lomond, or go the other way to places like Drymen.
Glasgow is about a 40-minute drive if you need a city or the airport. Stirling and Edinburgh are about an hour.
The cottage has parking right outside, WiFi, a washing machine, and an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
