Duck Bay Cottage 1
Duck Bay Cottage 1 is in Balloch, right on the shore of Loch Lomond. It's one of a pair of semi-detached cottages. The front garden is shared with the cottage next door. It's got a low wall, so you need to watch kids and pets there. You get your own enclosed garden at the back.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. One bathroom. You can bring one dog. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well equipped and comfortable.
The main thing is the location. You're right across the road from the loch. There's a bit of shingle beach you can use for paddling. Loch cruises and water activities are a few minutes' drive away in Balloch. There's a hotel practically next door where you can get food and a drink.
Inside, it's got the things you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. The garden has a BBQ and a private hot tub.
Balloch is basically the gateway to the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. You've got walking trails from the door. If you want to drive, Helensburgh is about 15 minutes away. Glasgow city centre is about a 30 minute drive. The National Trust for Scotland has properties like the Hill House in Helensburgh within that range.
