Duck Bay Cottage 1
Duck Bay Cottage 1 is in Balloch, right on the shore of Loch Lomond. It's semi-detached, one of a pair. The garden at the front is open, shared with the cottage next door. There's a low wall there, so you need to keep an eye on kids and pets. The back garden is fully enclosed and private. There's a hot tub out there.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Two of those bedrooms have double beds that can fit an extra pull-out bed for a child. There's one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating.
The main thing is the location. You're right across the road from the loch. There's a bit of beach you can use for paddling. The views from the cottage are over the water towards the Arden hills.
A hotel is just across the road. You can walk over for food and drink. For boat trips or hiring kayaks, you only need to go a few minutes along the shore.
Balloch has shops and things. You're at the south end of Loch Lomond, so you're well placed for getting into the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Glasgow is about a half hour drive if you need a city day.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
