Rose Cottage
Rose Cottage is in Arden on the east side of Loch Lomond. It’s part of a small group of cottages next to our farmhouse. It’s single storey, so no stairs to worry about.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One double and one twin. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s well kept and comfortable.
Outside there's a decked area with a hot tub. It’s private. The garden is enclosed, so it’s safe for dogs and kids.
You’re right in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The local pub is about a quarter of a mile walk. There’s a shop a couple of miles away in Balmaha.
You’re a few minutes’ drive from the lochside. There’s a slipway for boats at Milarrochy Bay, about five minutes away. For walking, Conic Hill and the start of the West Highland Way are just up the road at Balmaha. The National Park website is good for planning: Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.
Luss is about 15 minutes north. That’s where you’ll find the big marina. Balloch, which has the aquarium and cruises, is maybe 25 minutes south. Glasgow is under an hour’s drive if you want a city day.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking, a cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included. There's an electric vehicle charger. You can bring up to two dogs.
