Tarandoun Cottage
Tarandoun Cottage is in Helensburgh. It's basically part of our house, you'll be on the ground floor next door. You can't see the front from the road because it's down a lane.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept.
The main thing is the view. You're right on the shore of the Clyde. You can sit in the living room or on the patio and look out over the water to Port Glasgow and Greenock. The sunsets can be very good.
Out the back there's a garden that's mostly yours to use. It's got a pond and some lawn. It's a bit sunken, so there are steps down to it.
There's a shop and a pub about ten minutes' walk away. The leisure centre is close, half a mile maybe. It's got a pool and a gym. Helensburgh itself is a Victorian town, so the architecture is nice.
You're in a good spot for getting out. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park are right there. You can be at the loch in about twenty minutes for walks or watersports. Glasgow is less than an hour's drive if you want a city day. Stirling and Edinburgh are also doable.
What's here: parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot or a highchair in if you need one. The garden is enclosed. Sorry, no pets.
