The Seaside Suite
The Seaside Suite is a flat in Helensburgh. It’s on the top floor, so you get a clear view over the Gare Loch.
It’s a good-size flat for two people. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and everything’s in good order. You can walk to the town centre in a couple of minutes. There are shops, a few places to eat, and a cinema.
The big thing here is the walking. The John Muir Way starts just along the road. You can do a nice coastal stretch, or head inland. You see plenty of people with their boots on.
Glasgow is about 40 minutes by car if you want a city day. Edinburgh is a bit over an hour. Loch Lomond is maybe 20 minutes away. There’s a golf and spa place at Cameron House, about ten minutes’ drive.
Facilities: there’s a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. The WiFi works. No pets, I’m afraid.
