Chestnut Cottage
Chestnut Cottage is in Arden, on the western side of Loch Lomond. It's one of a pair of single-storey cottages, so it's all on the ground floor. You've got your own little patio garden out the front.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well put together and comfortable. There's an open-plan living area with a wood-burning stove. You get the logs for it.
The pub is about a quarter of a mile up the road. The nearest shop is in Gartocharn, two miles away. You're right in the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. The loch shore is a short drive or a decent walk away.
For days out, you can get a cruise on the loch from Lomond Shores. Golf at the Cameron House resort is a few minutes drive. Walking and cycling routes are everywhere. Glasgow is about 40 minutes by car if you want a city trip.
Facilities: there's parking right outside, an electric vehicle charger, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We accept up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
