Blairhosh Cottage
Blairhosh Cottage is just outside Balloch. It's a detached cottage in our garden, but you've got your own privacy. It looks out onto the fields and trees.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and everything works, but it's not fancy. There's a main woodburning stove in the living room and the heating is electric.
The cottage is in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. You're about a mile from Balloch, which is on the south shore of Loch Lomond. The West Highland Way is close by if you're walking it.
Balloch has shops and a couple of pubs. For a day out, Lomond Shores is nearby. They've got boat trips on the loch, an aquarium, and some shops. Cameron House is up the road for golf or a spa day if that's your thing.
You can drive into Glasgow in about 40 minutes. Stirling and Edinburgh are about an hour or so. Good if you want a city day.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding is included. There's bike storage under cover. No pets, sorry.
