Glenfruin Lodge
Glenfruin Lodge is in Arden, on the western side of Loch Lomond. It's about two miles from the loch shore. It's a semi-detached cottage.
It's a four-star place, sleeps three. One big bedroom, it can be set up as a twin or a super king. Patio doors from the bedroom go straight out to the garden. One bathroom. There's underfloor heating.
The main room has a wood burning stove. The ceilings are high. It's a clean, spacious kind of place. The bathroom has a whirlpool bath, which is a bit different.
Outside there's a grassy garden with a patio and seating. You can have a barbecue. There's parking right there.
It's set up for a couple really, but can take a third person. One well-behaved dog is welcome. We can provide a cot and highchair.
There's a local pub. For walks, you're right on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. You can be at the loch in five minutes by car.
Helensburgh is a short drive for shops. Balloch, at the south end of the loch, is about twenty minutes away. If you want to go further, Glasgow is under an hour's drive.
