Primrose Cottage
Primrose Cottage is one of several cottages here at Auchendennan Farm in Arden. It’s a single-storey place, so no stairs. It sleeps two, and the bed is a double.
The cottages are right in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Our bit is fairly quiet. There’s a pub about a five minute walk away. The nearest shop is two miles along the road in Balmaha.
The cottage is open plan. There's a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings. Outside, there’s a patio area with furniture. You share access to the main lawn and garden.
A lot of people come here for the outdoors. You can walk straight out onto forest tracks. The West Highland Way path is close by if you want a proper hike. The shore of Loch Lomond is about a fifteen minute walk down through the trees.
If you want to drive, Balmaha has a visitor centre and boat trips. The National Trust for Scotland’s Loch Lomond site is good for planning. Cameron House resort is ten minutes away for golf or a spa. Glasgow is about a forty minute drive if you need a city day.
It’s a 4 Star place. That means it’s comfortable and well-equipped. There's parking right outside the cottage. We include bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. You can bring up to two dogs. We have a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's also an electric vehicle charger on site.
