It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's modern and comfortable inside. There's an open-plan living area with a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is part of that room. You have your own little patio garden area outside.
It's part of a larger steading with a few other cottages. They all share the driveway and parking area. You can see the other properties, but your own garden space is private. There's an electric vehicle charger on site.
The local pub is about a quarter of a mile down the road. It's a proper local, does food. The nearest shop is in Balloch, about two miles away.
You're right in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. For walks, you can go up Conic Hill from Balmaha, or there are gentler paths along the lochshore. The West Highland Way passes nearby. If you want to go out on the water, you can get cruises from Lomond Shores or Balmaha. Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park has all the information on activities and access.
Further out, you can drive to places like The Kelpies or Stirling Castle within about 45 minutes. Glasgow is about 40 minutes south for a city day.
